Privacy and Cookie Policy of the unitracing.pl store

This document defines the principles of personal data processing and the use of cookies within the online store available at unitracing.pl (hereinafter referred to as the "Store").

§ 2. Purposes, legal basis and data processing period

 

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Conclusion and performance of a sales contract or the provision of electronic services (e.g. maintaining an account in the Store).

    • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (necessary for the performance of the contract).

    • Processing period: For the duration of the contract and until the statute of limitations for claims related to it expires (usually 3 years).

  2. Fulfillment of legal obligations incumbent on the Administrator.

    • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR (legal obligation), in particular the provisions of the Accounting Act.

    • Objective: Issuing and storing invoices and other accounting documents.

    • Processing period: For 5 years, counting from the end of the calendar year in which the tax payment deadline expired.

  3. Handling inquiries, notifications and complaints.

    • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest of the Controller).

    • Objective: Communication with users and customers.

    • Processing period: For the time necessary to resolve the matter, but no longer than the statute of limitations for any claims.

  4. Direct marketing of the Administrator's products and services.

    • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest of the Controller).

    • Objective: Promoting the Store's offer.

    • Processing period: Until you submit an effective objection.

  5. Sending commercial information electronically (Newsletter).

    • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (your voluntary consent).

    • Objective: Sending information about new products, promotions and products.

    • Processing period: Until you withdraw your consent.

  6. Analysis and statistics and improvement of the Store's operation.

    • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest of the Controller).

    • Objective: Collecting information on how to use the Store in order to optimize its operation.

    • Processing period: For the lifetime of cookies or until they are deleted from your browser.

 

§ 3. Data Recipients

 

  1. In order to ensure the proper functioning of the Store and the execution of contracts, your personal data may be transferred to the following categories of entities (so-called processors):

    • Hosting and IT service providers: Providing the technical infrastructure of the Store.

    • Courier, postal and transport companies: To deliver the products you ordered.

    • Online payment system operators: (e.g. mElements SA – Paynow, Blue Media SA) to process payment for the order.

    • Accounting office: In order to fulfill accounting and tax obligations.

    • Analytics and marketing tool providers: (e.g. Google LLC as part of the Google Analytics service, Meta Platforms Inc. as part of Facebook Ads).

    • Law firms: In the event of a claim being made.

  2. All entities to which we entrust data processing guarantee the application of appropriate measures for the protection and security of personal data required by law.

 

§ 4. Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

 

  1. Due to the use of services provided by providers such as Google or Meta (Facebook), your data may be transferred to third countries, in particular to the United States.

  2. Data transfers are carried out on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or under the Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of protection of personal data required by European regulations.

 

§ 5. Your Rights (in accordance with the GDPR)

 

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:

  1. The right to access data and receive copies thereof.

  2. Right to rectification (correction) your data if it is incorrect or incomplete.

  3. The right to delete data (so-called "right to be forgotten") if the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

  4. The right to restrict data processing.

  5. The right to data portability to another controller (applies to data processed automatically on the basis of a contract or consent).

  6. The right to object to data processing based on the legitimate interest of the Controller (e.g. for direct marketing purposes).

  7. The right to withdraw consent at any time, if the processing is based on consent (withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal).

  8. The right to file a complaint to the supervisory authority, which in Poland is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

§ 6. Cookies

 

  1. The unitracing.pl online store uses cookies. These are small text files sent by a web server and stored on the user's end device (e.g., computer, smartphone).

§ 7. Voluntary provision of data

 

Providing your personal data is voluntary, but it is a necessary condition for concluding a sales contract and completing an order in the Store. Failure to provide the data required in the order form will prevent you from submitting the order. Consenting to receive the newsletter is entirely voluntary.

 

§ 8. Automated decision-making and profiling

 

  1. Data collected using marketing cookies may be used for profiling, i.e. automatic analysis of your interests in order to present you with a personalized advertising offer.

  2. This profiling does not lead to decisions being made that would have legal consequences or significantly impact you in any other way. It is solely used to better tailor marketing content.

 

§ 9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

 

The Administrator reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any changes by publishing a new version of the document on the Store's website. The new version of the policy is effective from the date of its publication.
